De Eurpeese Spelen is een uniek evenement om mee te maken en zijn vrij voor alle hart- en/of longgetransplanteerden in Europa en het sportniveau speelt geen enkele rol.
Meer de Olympische gedachte meedoen is belangrijker dan winnen.
Een veel gestelde vraag over “Enrolment fee without accommodation € 280,- per person” .
Het LOC Växjö bedoelt met “Enrolment fee without accommodation € 280,- per person” dat hierbij alleen het gebruik van het hotel is uitgesloten.
Er kan wel worden deelgenomen aan alle diners, het Midzomer feest en de opening- en sluiting ceremonie.

Welcome to Växjö in 2010!
We are pleased to invite contestants and companions to participate in the 13th European Heart & Lung Transplant Games which are held in Växjö, Sweden in June/July 2010.
This is the first time since their inception in 1989 that these international Games take place in Sweden. Hosting the 2010 EHLT Games is the National Heart and Lung Transplant Association, VIKING. On this web site you will find everything worth knowing regarding the Games, which start on 30 June and finish on 4 July 2010.
Växjö is a relatively small city, centrally situated in the south part of the country in the region of Småland. It is easy to reach and just how easy is described under Getting Here. If you find pronouncing it being less easy – the spelling is peculiar even by Swedish standards – we will teach you when you get here! For more information on Växjö and environs, see under About Växjö or go to the Municipality of Växjö web site.
Never far away
Being a compact city has its advantages, most of the sport arenas at which we will be competing are within walking distance from our hotels, which are all in the city centre. Same goes for the Concert and Conference Hall where we will gather for dinner and more, this too is located right next to the hotels. The farthest arena is the golf course, which lies some five kilometres from downtown Växjö.
